Here’s what I have on heavy rotation this week! It’s DJ Mirandom’s newest mixtape, Vol. 22 Undercover Overlover, brought to you by wearevane.com.
The mixtape is a smooth musical ride that makes you want to take a summer drive through the cityscape in a drop top, maybe smoke a bit, reminisce about the 90s, and go out dancing, all mixed up into one. Sounds like the soundtrack to a great day to me, and I think that’s why I love the waves that the Vol. 22 Undercover Overlover gives.
The DJ/painter’s extensive musical rolodex, particularly in Hip-Hop and R&B, creates a chill, head-bumping, sometimes Dilla-esque 48 minutes, that you can listen to over and over.
