I took a little break on posting my Fall Style Diary, but I never stopped shooting! Over the next couple weeks, as the chill starts to set in, I’ll show you how I warmed things up, some of the time, this Fall. Also I’m looking forward to expanding Style Diary, and What Gets You Movin’, in general. 2013 is going to be a good one!
This particular week in November there was no mood, it was rather random actually, but at least the weather was decent, hence me showing my gams! I remember this week though, it was close to midterms, as always I barely slept, and on Tuesday I found out I was showing in a group show that Friday. The show was the 3rd annual Night of Arts in Chelsea.
Monday i rocked a new sweater, a fun find at my favorite Salvation Army store in the NYC area. Paired over a black razorback cotton mini and Jeffery Campbell moto books, i was super comfy.
MONDAY

Tuesday was probably another day, I wanted to lift my spirits. One of the best things that fix my morning mood is to dress up and look sexy, judge me if you like! I’ve had this dress for a very long time, and pulled it out the woodwork; I haven’t worn it in 3 or 4 years.

Wear a smile when all else fails, and that’s what I did on Wednesday. I love my trouser jeans, but they are pretty old, for me to wear them during an actual week day, means things must have been pretty hectic, plus I was having a bad hair day. I think things worked out pretty well though.

Thursdays in Fall were always the roughest day of the week, so they were always about ease and wearing a relaxed look. Again I was rummaging through my old clothes and found and old satin blazer I had from H&M. I paired it with my black fedora that I don’t wear too often, and I was off to take on the day.

Friday I was part of a last-minute show in Chelsea, where I showed one of my large pieces of photography. It’s from a nude series that I just temporarily halted called, The Zebra Series. I was excited about this outfit, because i had been patiently waiting for my Pearl Scalloped Collar from Asos to come in. I knew I wanted to play with its femininity by paring it with something a little edgier and fun. My crew necked vintage tee and leather skirt were a nice contrast with the collar.
