It’s time for another hotness post!
This time I don’t know his name, but while watching my interview with Perry Ellis designer, John Crocco, I remembered my Fashion Week crush. At the Perry Ellis show, I saw this lovely looking gentleman, and I was quite smitten. I later found out that he was a model for the show, although he only came out for the swimming trunks portion; what was up with that? He technically was acting way too cool for the model thing, like he wasn’t into it, so maybe he was just someone’s good looking friend, I don’t know.
Anyway, I had the pleasure of watching the models practice before the show, so I snapped that memorable face. That face had me drooling for weeks! I’m over it now, but far be it from me to stop you from salivating!

Yesterday I posted my chat with Honor designer, Giovanna Randall. Today I’m revisiting New York Fashion Week, with my chat with Perry Ellis designer and creative director, John Crocco. He was really nice, chill, and I totally understood his vision for the collection, I think he had 36 looks or something crazy-high for a runway show.
The best part of the show was the beautiful models, and more importantly they took their shirts off for the finale; umm…yes please! =)
If you missed my pictures from the Perry Ellis show, you can check them out here.

During Spring/Summer 2012 Mercedes-Benz Fashion week, I went to many shows, one of my favorite was Honor; remember some of my pictures I posted (click here)?
In addition to going to the show, I also got a chance to speak to Honor designer, Giovanna Randall as well as actress Tracee Ellis-Ross. Take a peek at some of my conversation, as well as the collection in motion!

I had the pleasure of attending the Fall 2011 Honor show last season, so I was happy to get the chance to check out the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Although there were some suits that I would never wear, there was an overall beauty to the collection. The detailing was what stood out to me, as well as what designer, Giovanna Randall, was able to do with lace. The garments were so feminine, yet quite sexy. And the back of the garments were to die for, particularly on her ultra feminine dresses.
GIovanna Randall also presented the collection in a fresh way, when the girls came out, there was a blower to make the outfits move, and reveal little lace undies. This is Honor’s 3rd show, and 1st show under the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week tents. I look forward to more, or I can always stop by the new store in the meat packing district.

Fashion week started this past Thursday with a bang! Although I only got to stop by a few places for Fashion’s Night Out, Bergdorf’s, Henri Bendel, and few spots in Soho, I did get to take in a show. My 1st show, on the 1st day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, was menswear designer Francis Hendy. Right out side of Lincoln Center, at Time Center Plaza, inside Samsung, Francis Hendy held his show. Although not at the tent, the environment was fun and the music was pumping.
As far as the clothes, I’d say that the suits were far more superior than the casual wear. If any man I dated wore that casual wear…well, I wouldn’t date anyone that would wear all those colors and patterns. Maybe the styling was off, I don’t know. What I do know though, is that the suits were sharp, and tailored wonderfully!
Overall the show was good, and I loved the diversity of the models!
